This speciality supplement includes 31 vitamins, minerals and botanicals, including green tea extract, coenzyme Q10, iodine, zinc, selenium and high levels of B12.
B-vitamins, along with biotin, copper, iron, and iodine all contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism, whilst the addition of folic acid and B12 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin C and vitamin E are important as they contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress that can be caused by exercise. This formula also includes calcium, magnesium and vitamin D to support bone health.
B-vitamins are water soluble which means they cannot be stored by the body and need replenishing regularly. Sweating from exercise causes water to be lost faster, and thus nutritional needs may be greater. On the other hand, nutrients such as Co-Q10, vitamin E, vitamin D and vitamin K are fat soluble, meaning they are absorbed with the other fats from the food you consume. As a result, this formula includes MCT to aid in the absorption of these nutrients.
