Product Details

Light, balancing and gently uplifting, Petitgrain (Orange Leaf) essential oil, has a refreshing, zesty aroma with dry, green notes and a soft woody undertone. It can soothe overwrought emotions and bring a sense of calm joy, even on the busiest days. It’s also especially helpful for cleansing oily and congested skin.

Emotionally
Petitgrain has a restorative effect, helping to ease nervous exhaustion and restore balance during times of emotional upset. Its zesty, green scent lifts the mood to leave you feeling more centred and at ease.

Physically

Petitgrain is both clearing and rejuvenating for the skin. It is especially helpful for oily, congested or combination skin types, and is also a gentle option for sensitive skin. Add it to your favourite blending oil to create a skin-nourishing treatment.

Petitgrain essential oil is fresh and zesty with a green, citrus aroma.

Aromatically, Petitgrain is a middle note essential oil, the main body and balance of a blend, meaning its scent will last a few hours. It blends well with Cypress, Frankincense or Orange.

Also known as Orange Leaf, Petitgrain essential oil is obtained from the aromatic leaves of the Bitter Orange Tree. The flowers produce Neroli. The tree was originally native to China, although nowadays it also thrives in the hot climates of southern France, Algeria, Spain and Paraguay. The leaves are speckled with tiny sacs of essential oil that you can see clearly if you hold a leaf up to the light.
